Unscrupulous people have done this very thing (posing a a utility type) for bad reasons. Every time I hear about it in the news it makes my skin crawl. Oh wait, wrong job. :) When I did have to work at night, I actually enjoyed it. There were fewer people to bother me and I could focus on the work better. Plus it's easier to goof off. Of course, I never had to work on cable boxes at night but I can imagine it's pretty difficult. Though it does sound like the perfect cover for someone who wants to roam around neighborhoods without being suspected of being a "bad guy". Who's going to question the cable guy/power company/etc.?
